Weekly ongoing sessions Mondays 11:00 a.m. starting January 13, 2014.  $15 drop-in.  Please come 15 minutes early to change & register. Please bring a yoga mat. Sessions will be 1/3 gentle yoga. 1/3 meditation and 1/3 sounding together, with a brief circle share also.

A practice-oriented meditation workshop exploring the nature of Being.  Straight from where we are  to the essence that moves us.

For Yoga teachers and for meditators  wishing to align a  simple practice  with vast purpose.  We we organize technique then go beyond it to connect with a profound view that is readily available to us.

The day will be spent learning and practicing three simple meditation methods  from Buddhism and Advaita Yoga.   Light  asana and group feedback will round out the mostly-meditation focus.

This workshop is geared to those who have some meditation experience or to any brave soul whose heart is calling!

Toronto Sat Sept 8 10 am to 1 pm join us at Transense Healing, Bloor and Spadina, for a practical workshop in chanting of traditional Sanskrit japa.

We will focus on the principal pf Ganesha, placer and remover of obstacles and what it really means to try to come to terms  for joyful release by  simple spoken chanting and devotional singing -two ways to practice mantra.

Wednesdays September 5, 12, 19, 2012 from 6:30 pm. to 8:30 pm.

This is a 3 week course in the fundamentals of meditation practice.  Depending on the nature of the attendees, this may be replaced with Meditation 202.

The 101 series covers posture, breath and 3 ways to work with mind.   By the end of the first session, participants will have chosen one of 3 methods and will be supported in maintaining a daily practice. Chanting will be used to transition to silent periods and there will be group feedback at the beginning of each session.

I am a musician, meditator and sometimes teacher.  From time to time I will be offering workshops and sessions to encourage others to explore the world of meditation.  We will practice some sitting, walking, stretching and chanting.  We’ll rest in silence. What might this reveal?

A shift happens as we become aware of awareness. We connect with something that is bigger than anything else, and it happens to be beautiful. This inspires us, helps us to heal and opens a richer experience of our lives.
